Before founding Green Mitten Finance, Joe held the position as the CFO at Emergent Payments and CFO and VP of Finance at Hearst Corp, managing the Accounting and Finance departments for the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com. Allowing the development of his expertise in financial oversight, operational efficiency, and growth strategy development. Joe enhanced the abilities of cross-functional teams by providing leadership and training, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

During his 11 years at eBay/PayPal, Joe held numerous significant roles both domestically and internationally. In his final role at PayPal, he developed and led a top-tier team to evaluate new global business ventures. His responsibilities included taking the lead on mergers and acquisitions, major commercial deals, and strategic partnerships.

Joe's roles have overseen all aspects of policy development, and client query resolution, with a focus on driving organizational excellence.
